Discover a variety of resources for tracing African American history and genealogy at the South Carolina Historical Society Archives. The Historical Society's archivists will introduce participants to their archival collections, manuscripts, photographs, family papers, and other historical records that can help uncover family stories and connections of African Americans in South Carolina across generations.
Please note that visitors must present government issued identification to obtain a visitor pass for entry to the Addlestone Library.
The Addlestone Library is surrounded by metered street parking and is located within blocks of public garages.
